Does EZPerDiem take into account the transition period in October?

In October, taxpayers have the option of using per diem rates for the following year.  This is referred to as the "transition period". For example, if a crewmember is working on tax year 2020, then in October 1, 2020, you could use the 2021 rates for the last three months of the year.  EZPerDiem uses this method, which helps generate a higher per diem deduction.

This is further described in IRS Publication 463.
